THIS IS PENANG !!! MP JELUTONG GELAR PENGUATKUASA "KUCING KURAP" !!!

Agar keterlaluan dan biadap apabila seorang Ahli Parlimen yang dipilih dan diberi kepercayaan oleh rakyat menghina Penguatkuasa yang berbangsa Melayu sebagai Kucing Kurap.
A DAP MP lashed out at the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) for sending low-ranking officers to his press conference at Jelutong Market.

Jelutong MP Jeff Ooi even called the officers who came as kucing kurap (small fry) and said the council was insulting him.

“I do not want to speak to them (the officers).

“I wanted to respond to an incident last week. I need facts today and lower-ranking officers cannot provide me that,” he said.

Ooi said that he called for the press conference to discuss an incident last week when a group of illegal hawkers staged a protest against the council for confiscating their goods.

“I was hoping that with the help of the council, we would come up with a long-term solution and arrangement for the illegal hawkers, so they can still earn a living.

“However, no senior officers were present from the council’s licensing and enforcement division,” he said on Saturday.
Ooi said the problem had been pending for more than six years, and up till now, there had been no solution.
Council president Datuk Patahiyah Ismail and MPPP corporate department enforcement chief Azman Sirun could not be reached for comments.
On another issue, unscrupulous contractors have been dumping household waste at the Jelutong landfill which is supposed to be restricted to construction and demolition debris.
Ooi said evidence of animal carcasses and food waste has been found at the site.
“M.E.I Consultants Sdn Bhd and CH2M Hill, which were tasked to do research on the structure and the content of the landfill in July this year, reported this.
“The council has admitted the same,” he said.
Ooi hoped the MPPP could put a stop to the practice by the contractors as the decom- position of household waste would affect the accuracy of the results of the study which costs RM1.5mil.
“The ultimate plan is to close down the site.
“However, the dumping of household waste will hamper the plan since decomposition of the waste will take a longer time,” he said.
